Which screen are you looking at? In some places, they are grey, not green.
When a single checkbox can apply to multiple items, and it is ticked for
some of those items but not others, the check box would not be correct if it
showed a tick for all of them, or if it were cleared for all of them. So it
shows the ambiguous green or other color to mean "some yes, some no". In
most cases, you can click the box to toggle the setting between all ticked
and all cleared - but you might NOT want to do that if you already have them
set individually the way you want them.
If that doesn't fit what you are seeing, post back with details, please.
