Chart title reference a cell

Can a chart title reference a cell's entry?

try the following
- select the title textbox
- enter the equation sign '='
- select the cell to reference

try the following (sorry forgot one step):
- select the textbox
- hit F2 or manually click in the formula bar
- now insert the cell reference with equation sign

Actually, that step isn't necessary, if the title box is selected
without activating the cursor within it.
