Thanks very much for your response. I am unable to access formulas,
however, once I create and select the drawing element. I tried it with a
rectangle and text box; Excel 2007 wouldn't allow me to enter a cell
reference that it would interpret as anything but simple text. Any ideas?
I mis-interpreted your "how-to" instructions earlier; it's working just how
you said that it should. Thank you very much! I really appreciate your help.
