Now that you have posted your real e-mail address for millions to see,
including spammers, I'm sure you will be getting plenty of mail.

Never use your real address in a newsgroup, and if you want to see if it
works, just send a message to yourself. If you get it, it's working.

How do you set up an account so that your email address does appear when you
send an email message, but does not appear when you send a message to a
newsgroup?

In Windows Mail or Outlook Express...you do it in Tools/Accounts treating
the Newsgroup account just the same as you would any other, except that it
will accept a dummy email address.

You should be getting lots of e-mail now that you have published your e-mail
address in a public newsgroup.
