Character problem - / instead of . in file size

Hi, First post here so sorry if this has been done before. Recently the .
charcter on file size (eg 4.2 GB) has been changed to a / character (eg 4/2
GB). This happens when I hover over items and right click choose properties.
My PC is Virus and spyware / adware free. Any suggestions? Cheers, Jon

Hi,

Go to the Control Panel/Regional and Language Options, on the first tab
click customize. Click in the decimal box and then hit the period key.
Apply/ok your way back out.
