Chapter page numbers

I am creating training documents and want each section (chapter) to page
numbered 1-1, 1-2, etc. when the section changes (new chapter) 2-1, 2-2, etc.

I can't figure out how to change the page numbering to start the second
chapter and subsequent chapters.

Please help me find a tutorial that will show me how to do that.

I used to use "Section Breaks" to renumber each chapter in Word 2003 and I
believe it hasn't altered. I believe I also added a page/chapter numbering
field so that it automatically numbered upwards on each section break change.
