Changing Windows XP partitions from primary to logicial.

I bought a 500Gig hard drive and partitioned it into e: and f: drive.
Unfortunately the f: drive is labeled as the primary partition. Since I
already transfered my files to the drive I do not want to format it. Does
anyone know how to make e: the primary partition with out destroying the data.

Open device mgr, scroll to the hds, expand the tree,R.click on each one at
a time,select disable,with both disabled,restart pc.Back in xp,open device
mgr,enable one (w/o restart),once thru,close out,go to run,type:diskmgmt.msc
In msc,L.click on the drive,go to actions,all,"change drive letter/path"
change
letter, select the letter of the disabled partition, then make active, close
out,
restart pc,enable other,it'll get the other letter auto.
