Hello, i know this is probably easier than expected, but i've read everywhere
anf can't seem to figure it out!!

I'm currently lerning how to use dreamweaver to design web pages. In the
meantime I designed an image in print artist, which will only allow you to
save it with the print artist extension (.pa). In order to use it as an
insertable image in dreamweaver, I need it to become a .jpg or .gif file. I
tried just renaming the extension, but it still does not work. I tried using
acdc file converting program, but when I select that file to convert , it
won't even give you the option to convert it like it would with any other
file. I know it's the file, because I can insert any other .jpg image into
the dreamweaver document and I get the results I want with no hassle. But
when I proceed to use the Print artist file that I renamed to .jpg, it just
shows the box where the image would be, and none of the image itself.

I will appreciate any help I can get
Thank You
Roger

Does Print Artist have an "export" feature? If not, then it's pretty
useless, IMHO. What good is a program that does not allow you to save
into a useful format?

If all else fails, open up the image in PA, set it at 100% (if not
already), hit the "PrintScreen" button on the keyboard, open up mspaint,
Hit Edit -> Paste, then cut out everything except the image itself.

I realize this is an UGLY solution, but I did say "if all else fails,"
didn't I? ;-)

Excellent, i found the export feature. I never thought of doing the screen
shot though, and i've done that hundreds of times for everything!! LOL

I am aware of the uselessness of printartist, but it's cheap and easy to
use. You're talking to just the average everyday computer Joe that is just
trying learn a new thing here with limited resources. I would love to know
if maybe you know of any free graphics producing software out there that I
can download and don't need a masters degree to know how to operate??

Otherwise thanks a bunch for the help!!
Roger
