Every so offten, I'd like to change the Welcome screen when I start XP-SP2.
I do have TweakUI, but I am not realy happy with how I have to change my
desktop background before using it to make the change.

If there is another way to do so without TweakUI, I'd like to know, unless
it means major changes to programs, registry, etc.

Do a search under "Logon Screen Problem" (Google or similar)
Change can be done easily enough with experience, but can also stop you from
logging in if it goes wrong.

There are programs available to change the Welcome screen.
Logon Loader is one, and it has a Forum page you should peruse, first.

What I realy want to do is make a new Welcome screen with a JPEG or BMP. If
there's a program to do that, or instructions to make the JPEG/BMP into the
logonui.exe I want to know about it.
