I cant find out where to change the color of my mouse from white or black to
all the other colors of the color spectrum. A friend of mine had his colored
blue and red. This makes it easier on the eyes. Anyone know how to do this?
I've tried Start,Cotrol Panel, Printers and other Hardware, Mouse...........
but I dont see any selections for any colors other than White or Black.

The inverted pointer schemes are available in xp and Ive tried them. The one
I was using changed colors based on what area I moved it over( hence
inverting the color of the mouse), but this is not what I'm looking to do. I
have found some mouse transformations on www.funutilities.com and there is no
spyware, adware,or viruses. I'de like to find more though that are as safe.

You can't set it to be colored. What you can do is to change the cursor (with anything you want, colors, shapes, whatever). Search
the Internet for "Windows cursors" or "free Windows cursors". You will find Windows cursors which you can replace the default one
with. Download the .CUR file(s) (or the compressed .ZIP files, then extract them), then put them wherever you want. Next, open the
Control Panel and run the Mouse applet then click the Pointers tab. This is where you can change the cursor. There are several
different states that the cursor can be in at any given time and you can change them all. Click the browse button to locate the
file then click Apply.

Another option is to get a cursor management program where you can use "cursor themes" or "cursor packages" which can include
multiple cursors, or even one for every state. They also make it easier to apply them by making it a simple point-and-click affair
for the package instead of individual cursors.

your "FRIEND" won't tell you how he did it.

Search Google for "custom cursor" (including the quotation marks). I got 208,000 hits.
