Changing the formatting of Word Styles

A

Adrian

Hi,

I need to change the formatting of one of the word pre-defined styles -
TOC1 . I need to change it's font size. How do I go about doing it ?

Thanks.

Adrian,
Depends on what version you are using, Microsoft has rearranged the menu's a
bit.
In Word 2002/2003 choose Insert - Reference - index and toc - click on the
tab toc - choose change - select your level and hit change again - choose
your font and click OK a few times.
That should do it.
Good luck

Adrian,
As an alternative, activate your taskpane formatting and styles, click the
arrow next to TOC1 and click on change. Do whatever you want to do and hit
OK.

As yet another alternative, the TOC styles are by default set to update
automatically, so changing the font of one TOC entry should update the
style.
