changing the email address for oneself on Word

J

Jennie R.

My computer student wants to type email in Word and then send it out
from there.
Each time he sends something out is has the incorrect email address
and not the one that he wants to use. How can we change this in Word?
Does it involve using Outlook (from what I have read on here) ?????

Question 2----when he "emails a Word" document straight out of Word,
it changes fonts and spacing upon reaching other email programs. What
universal font should he use to avoid that?

thanks so much for your help, Jennie

The way the email account is set up has nothing to do with Word. The account
needs to be corrected in Outlook, Outlook Express, or whatever mail client
is being used. In Outlook Express, you start with Tools | Accounts, select
the appropriate account, and click Properties. Correct the From or Reply To
address as needed and OK out. I don't have any mail accounts in Outlook, but
when I choose Tools | E-mail Accounts, I get a dialog allowing me to use the
wizard to "View or change existing e-mail accounts," which leads to a dialog
in which you can select an account and click Change.

When you send a plain-text email (recommended), you have no control over how
it is viewed by the recipient. Even if you send a formatted (HTML) message,
the recipient may read it as plain text. If you want to preserve the
formatting, you must send the document as an attachment.
