Changing SID on first boot up

I have an enterprise license for Windows XP Pro SP 1a and I have a hardware
cloning device for the HDDs. I'm told there is a way to set up the master
HDD so that sysprep will change the SID on the cloned HDDs on first boot up
without going through the entire OS setup process. In other words the only
task that will be performed is to change the SID. Is this accurate??
