Changing Servers

I have two test servers for specific reasons. Let's call them A and B.
Both have an exact copy of the save database.

I create an ADP connected to Server A. The app works fine.

I change the connection over to Server B. The app works fine.

Now this is experimental... so stay with me.

I change the connection back to Server A and close Access.

I take Server A offline [I'm simulating a particular setup here]

I try to open the APD and it dies with the "File C:\....\xxx.adp" or one of
it's components can't be found" error.

Is there a way to get at the connection info in the ADP and change it with
out having Server A on line?

How would I connect to a different server if Server A died?

Kyle!

BTW....

It's Office XP.

And I tried letting the project timeout...still get the same error.

Open the adp with the shift key down, opens without
running the startup code, you'll get the connection
timeout and then you can set the connection.
