changing Out of Office message for coworker

P

Pearl

Our office has Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007. Recently, my supervisor
requested that I change her Out of Office message while she is on vacation.
I can connect to her mailbox from my Outlook but I get the message that her
Out of Office message can not be displayed because the server is unavailable.
I am the junior administrator of the Exchange 2007 system. I can create a
profile but still can not get to her OOM. Is there a way to do this without
making a long distance telephone call to ask her for her password?

Out of Office is a function of Exchange so this is best asked in the Exchange
newsgroup. However what I would do is give myself rights to the mailbox and
then open it in OWA to do what you need to.
