changing of drive letters

how do you change driverletters. i want ro rename my recovery partition
to drive d, though now drive d is removable disk

If it is allowed (in your case) - you can use "Disk management" to do it.

Right click on "My Computer" and select Manage.

Choose the Disk Management item. First change the removable disk to
some other drive letter that is not currently in use, then change the
removable disk. Note that you might have to reboot after changing
the removable disk letter.
