Changing my folders back to Windows XP style from Windows Vista st

I downloaded a program (Have no idea of what it was called) about a week ago
which changed all of my folders from Windows XP style to Windows Vista style.
Than I stupidly uninstalled the program.
I do not like the Windows Vista style folders, and want to change all my
folders back to the original Windows XP style.
Can anyone give me step-by-step instructions as to how to do this? I am 73
years old and don't understand things as well as I did when I was younger.
Hoping for a reply with instructions please.
