changing linked tables

You CANNOT change or alter a table if it is linked.
PERIOD.

The way to change it, is to go to where the table was
linked from (i.e. another database) and you can change
the table from there.

If you are not sure where the table is, follow these
steps:

Go to:

Tools > Analyse > Documenter

tick the table(s) you want to analyse

A report will come up and show you where the table is
linked from.
