Jaclyn

Hello,

I am using a laptop with Windows 2000. I got the laptop
from work. I work in China, so all of the programs and
commands of the computer are written in Chinese. I am an
American and know little Chinese so it is very hard to
download programs, find what I want, and troubleshoot if
everything is written in a language I don't understand. I
know there has to be a way to change the Chinese into
English, but I can't find the right place to go because I
can't understand Chinese. If you know of a way to change
the system from Chinese to English, I would appreciate it
if you responded back to this e-mail.

Thanks,

Jaclyn

The only thing you can change are the menus for Internet Explorer. To change
that computer into an English language one, you will have to install an
English language operating system on it.

Greetings --

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS
to another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of
English versions of the OS and applications.
