Hi

I have just uninstalled Norton and got all the updates out of my system etc
i was thinking about buying panda and wondering would it cause any conflicts
seeing as Norton leaves fragments in the registery etc? and would it
conflict with ZoneAlarm Pro if i didnt install the panda firewall? i say
this as i have read on quite a few forums that Norton causes conflicts?
Any advise appriciated

If you go to Symantec's site and search its KB, you'll find articles that
will help with complete removal of Symantec products. In fact, depending on
the product and revision (e.g., NAV 2003), Symantec has tools to help remove
left-over registry and file debris that would cause problems with
reinstallation and registration of its products.

If you don't install the firewall component of Panda, I would doubt you'd
have anything to conflict with ZA. ZA is a bitch to uninstall. It leaves
debris everywhere. So, you're probably better off just not installing the
Panda firewall in the first place, unless you feel searching for left-over
dll's.
