changing font

I want to change my desktop font to comic scan bold but I cannot get it to
change by going into settings, etc, etc....please help! Thanks.
 
Hello,

What happens when you try to change it in Display settings?

Start > Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Advanced > (click the area in
the pic where you want to change) > change the font as needed
