Yesterday I changed some of my most frequently used desktop folder icons to
some new ones I had obtained from an icon web site. They looked great.
However, when I restarted my computer, they were back to the old standard
yellow folders. What do I have to do to make these changes stick? Thanks in
advance!

.Sounds like you may have downloaded a Trojan Horse
program. use a program such as adaware or pest patrol to
check. Also, make sure your anti-virus program is up to
date and running.

I am using Norton IS and AV 2003 with the automatic update feature set. I
don't think a virus is the culprit (although I am often wrong but never in
doubt).
