Hi there,

Is there a way to configure my MSOutlook send email interface so that I
get to see a dropdown menu for the "from" option. I used to use MS
outlookexpress a few years ago and had that drop down menu so that I
can select which account ID I want to use to reply to a perticular
email. The present MSOutlook send/reply email interface doesnot even
show "from" at all..so I am assuming that it is using the default email
account for sending all emails.

Since I reply emails for three different job functions (and receive
emails from three different email addresses), it is more professional
to reply from the email address the question was addressed to - versus
replying all emails from my default account.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind Regards,

Outlook 2003 uses the 'Accounts' dropdown to accomplish that. Do you see it
on your toolbar when composing new mail items?

No I don't see any Accounts dropdown. The system I am using is a
MSOutlook 2000.
Look forward to your comment.

Select Help > About Microsoft Outlook. Right under the product name and
version will be a line that states what mode Outlook is installed in. What
does it say?

It says "Internet Mail only" - is this what you were looking for? Look
forward to your comment. Thank you!

In that case see if you've got a Send Using command/sub-menu off of the File
menu when in an email item
