you need to change the CD to something like "F" then change the other drive
to "D", now change the "F" back to what ever you want it to be.

Change the cd drive letter to f, then change your 2nd hard drive to d, then
change the cd to e.

Greg,

You need to change either your time or time zone setting, you are posting in
the future. Having either of these set incorrectly can cause problems.

My primary hard drive is C, my CD Drive is D and my secondary hard drive is
E. I want to make my secondary hd to be D and my CD, E. WHen I go to Control
Panel | Computer Management | Disk Storage, D is not available because the
CD has it. How can I assign D to the hard drive

I changed my time zone as you suggested, thanks

How do I change the CD drive to another letter. I didn't see a way to do it
using Administrative Tools or My Computer

It is in the disk management applet with your hard drives. Right click it
and change drive letters.
