Changing Drive Letter

D

Dean

Hi,

Reloaded a system with W2K. The drives were still
installed from a previous incarnation. It's using a
Fasttrax RAID. The problem is that the freshly loaded W2K
hard drive is the "D" drive; my data drive is the "C".

Any (easy) way to switch these? I just went through a
complete re-install and don't want to start over. Tried to
chage the drive letters on Admin Tools, Disk management
but it says "Cannot change the drive letter of the boot
drive"

Thanks,
Dean

Yes but it snot easy. Why not since you are at the start of this installation just start over? Seems the best time to do such a thing for what you want. Make sure when youu reinstall that the Active Partition is where you want the Op sys to live.
