Changing DNS settings via CMD.exe

Group:

1. How does one access tcp/ip properties using cmd.exe instead of the GUI
(eg. changing DNS servers, using DHCP etc.)?

2. Where are the 'hard coded' DNS files, i.e. WINs etc.? I've gotten as far
as c:\winnt\system32 ... then I get lost.

1. Use netsh from a command prompt
2. c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc
