Changing 'Date Picture Taken' tag in Exif data?

Guest

Does anyone know how to change the 'date picture taken' tag in Jpeg Exif
data? I have several photos with incorrect or no dates and would like to
correct this.

Thanks for any help.

Matt.

If it appears as a print in the picture, it is applied by the camera and
cannot be removed unless using a picture editor. Please set the correct date/
time in the camera or disable that feature in the camera.

Thanks for your reply, however, the 'exif' data has nothing to do with any
dates on the actual image. When you hover over a jpeg file it displays
various bits of info that can be edted by 'right clicking, properties,
summary'. I cannot alter the 'date picture taken' info.

Anyone else have any ideas.

Thanks again for any help.
