Changing Computer Network Name ?

Hi there,

Can someone help with this please ....

At the moment, if I do a search for Wi-Fi components on my Notebook, I
find my 2 desktop computers are named (these are exactly as they
appear) :-

Steve-1175d7115
and
Computer A (Steve-ba9c42237)

Can someone give me "An Idiots Guide" how to change them to something
more meaningful to me, such as :-

Pentium 4 - 1.7GHz
and
Pemtium 4 - 3.4GHz

The I know which one is which !

Can someone give me "An Idiots Guide" how to change them to something
more meaningful to me, such as :-

Dead easy:
1. right-click on My Computer, choose "Properties".
2. on the "Computer Name" tab, hit the "Change" button.
3. I won't tell you this part. It's secret.
