Changing back to the default folder in Office 2003

Hi
When I installed office 03 I had changed the default folder, for saves, to a
different partition. Now I want to change it back. I've clicked on modify and
navigated to my documents on the c drive but when i click to confirm the
change the setting hasn't changed?
What am I doing wrong?
 
I assume you restarted Word after changing the default?
