Changes are not saved after closing the document

XP Home edition, WordPerfect 12
In one document, the changes are not saved when I close it.
I tried "Save As" and a new name, also "Copy – Paste" in a new document; to
no avail. The "Properties" of this document seem to be the same as the
"Properties" of others.
Any suggestion?

You might want to ask in a Corel newsgroup. Their newsgroup server is
cnews.corel.com. Try corel.wordperfect12.
