I have changed my web location and my browser refuses to
open the new location using the name location -
www.example.com.
It is no problem to open at the IP#.
What is the deal with my browser and is there a fix.

THANKS

If you mean that you just changed hosting provider for your website, this is
probably just a temporary condition, and not anything wrong on your end. It
can take up to 48hrs for DNS changes to propagate world-wide.

I changed the DNS almost two weeks ago. the web address
works on other computers but not on mine. I publish with
FP. Is there any relation??
Thanks for your input!!

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS

Shouldn't be, but just for laughs, search your hd for a file names HOSTS (no
extension, and may be hidden). If found, temporarily rename it to something
else, then try accessing the site again.

If that fixes it, open the file with a plain-text editor like Notepad (NOT
Word). Search for lines containing your domain name, and delete them. Then
rename the file back to HOSTS.
