Changed Domain to work group and now I cannot login to computer.

Changed Domain to work group and now I cannot login to the
computer form the blue screen (XP Pro). I had estabilshed
two network connections to braodband at home (lap top and
PC) bth with XP. Both computers couls acess the network
just fine. I could not connect the computers diretcly so
I changed the LAP tops from domain to workgroup. This
worked fine however when I restarted the computer it no
longer would allow me to log on. It does not recognize my
password. Now I am stuck on the blue screen and cannot
get onto the lap top. totaly hosed up. Help.

when changing from domain to workgroup, you may lose the logon id and
password. can you logon as local administrator?

I did the same exact thing and now I am having the same issue and I cannot logon as a local administrator!
