Change XP Log On/Log Off Screens

How do I go about modifying the start up/shut down screens
in Windows XP?

It past versions this could be done with LOGO*.SYS files.
Can this be done in Windows XP?

I download logon screens from www.themexp.org and apply them with StyleXP
from www.tgtsoft.com.

Its not that easy. Additionally, you can find more splash/logon screens at
www.belchfire.net. Make sure you download the correct one for your version
of XP (Service Pack 1 installed or not).
