Change the language of WinXP...

Hi,
I would like to change from an English to a French
version of my WinXP Home Edition.

How can I do and at what cost?

In order to change the language of Windows XP Home you must purchase a
French version to install.
 
You can install the French Locale to your machine, but this won't change
things like the Start Menu or applications installed already. It will only
change the number format, currencies, dates and time.

To achieve what you're after - you'd have to buy a French version of XP
