Change the Color of The Loading Bars on the Load Screen.

I've always wanted to change the color of the loading bars on the loading
screen just before you get on to the desktop. I've always wondered if it was
possible to change it to any color you want and how to go about doing it. Can
Microsoft reveal this or is this some terrible secret?

I would like to perhaps change the color to Neon Yellow or Orange or maybe
even red, or whatever color suits my mood. Please help?

I have done several searches through Google, on XP Progress Bar Color, and
have so far only come up with results of programs leading to having the same
type of progress bar as windows xp, etc. So, If you can help me find what I'm
looking for or can reccomend what software thatd be great and I'd be much
abliged.

Hi Master Jedi,

Allow me to put you out of your misery, the program you need is called
bootskin. It's a free program that allows you to change the windows boot-up
loading screen. By looking at the included example boot screens it's very
easy to figure out how to make your own (especially if you just want to take
an existing screen and change the bitmaps used for the loading bar anim).

here ya go... http://www.stardock.com/products/bootskin/

Hope that helps

Andy
