change the color of each sentence in one slide

In one slide I have 3 sentences which are itemized. I want to change the
color of each sentence in that slide when I am talking about that sentence to
attract the attention of audience. Is this sort of animation possible?
A colleague find a way but not a clever solution. He puts 3 slides in
sequence and change the color of each sentence in each slide and use an addin
to fix the place and size of all slides, so when going through slides it
seams that slide is the same one but the color changes.

Your colleague's way will work just fine, but you can do this kind of
animation using an emphasis effect in PPT 2002 and 2003. What version of PPT
do you have?

Version is 2003. Yes I find the effect command under animation and used it
thanks for your comments. It is fine but is it possible to change setting of
those effects (like time and color) and make them as I wish. It seams they
have introduced some effects for start, end and emphsys. Each one has some
selection choice but non of them is what I want. I would like to change only
color instantly but these effects take time to finish.

You can use Emphasis > Change Font Color, to change the color of the text. It
will change it color slowly. If you want the effect to be immediate, double
clikc on the Change Font Color effect to bring up the effect options dialog
box.
Next, click on the Timing tab.
Click on the speed field and set it to 0.01 seconds.
Ok you way out.

If you want more colors, click on the font color dropdown field, select More
Color, then click on the Custom tab.
