Change the cascade order of windows in XP professional

I want to find out if something is possible in either
Windows or a 3rd Party application to alter the cascade
order which multiple windows display as I can't seem to
find anything on the subject.

My colleague is a photographer and regularly transfers
multiple images onto his laptop running Windows XP.

Once the camera has been imported it delivers the images
into his imaging application - Adobe Photoshop 6. When he
then chooses to open all the photos and work on them they
are often too large to be clear enough for comparison if
tiled so he uses the cascade option

However these are often action shots for a motorcycle
magazine and he would prefer to view these images in the
order they were taken as he only requires certain angle
shots from a rapid frame sequence.

if he opens the images as a batch (often 30 or more) they
are opened in order, which means the first image of the
sequence and the one he wants to work on first is quickly
obscured by the subsequent windows opening. An option to
cascade the windows in a set order would seriously speed
up his work. It is not restricted to Photoshop 6 but also
happens in any imaging software we have tried.

Is there any way that the XP default order for cascading
windows can be changed? The camera driver has a naming
protocol when importing files which gives the images a
number but i think an A-Z sort option would be helpful if
it is possible. Or is it something i need to pursue with
Adobe?

Thanks for any help with this

I would appreciate any thoughts on the matter

What about importing those images into Photoshop's animation program? He
could view the frames in filmstrip mode. A thumbnailer program would be
another alternative: Thumbsplus, ACDSee, etc.
