Hi everyone,

A friend of mine recently got the latest Office suite and
gave me her old MS Office 97. How may I change the
registered ownership - legally?

There is nothing that needs to be done other than fully remove it from
the original computer.
She should also give you the CD, Product Key, EULA in order for you to
have a valid license.

Thanks for the come back! I have the CD, and Product Key,
everything in the original case/holder. I figured for 50
cents it was a good deal. Thanks again for your advice!
