Change ownership of all files in folder.......

I've found the reason why I cannot access my files, it's an ownership issue.

I've taken ownership of the folder, and now must change ownership of each
file within the folder.

There must be a way to do this without having to change hundreds of files
individually.

TIA

In the parent folder be sure to select the checkbox for replace owner on
subcontainers and objects and then hit apply.

There's a box to check that says to propagate the ownership to
subfolders/files. Look more carefully. It might be under "Advanced".
