Change from VLK to OEM Help!!!!!

I currently have an XP Pro VLK edition of XP pro on my system. I want to
replace it with an OEM version that I purchased when I bought a new Hard
disk. Can I install over the top of the VLK version to keep my settings
that I already have in place or will I have to do a complete re-install.
