change from linked to import?

I just spent 4 days linking 100+ text files into Access 2000 and just found
out that I can't share the database because the link path isn't relative.
How do I fix this? I've tried using the Linked Table Wizard but it always
incorrectly uses the same schema for all tables. Is there vba I could use to
make these relative paths or perhaps just import all the linked tables? Like
I said I spent 4 days linking and adding table descriptions and really don't
want to loose the work.

thanks

On my website (see sig below) is a small sample database called:
"RelinkOnOpen.mdb" which might be what you are looking for.

Thanks for sending the link. I did take a look at the example but in the end
just used Macro ToolWorks to record a key stroke macro to do the work. I
would rather have used vba but this was a one-time task and was able to
complete it in less than an hour for all 140 tables.

thanks
