know how!

It's the same as XP: right click, choose Properties, Change Icon. Works on
shortcuts.

The advanced File Types tabs has disappeared in Vista. The best solution I
have found so far is this:

It's not free, and it's part of a set of tools. I want to find something
similar that doesn't include a bunch of other stuff.
