Change emphasis effect in specific lines of text box

Dear Powerpoint users

I seek your advice on a powerpoint skill.
I have a textbox on a slide with 3 main points

I would like to show all 3 points on the slide at a time,
but emphasise each point sequentially where the emphasis point 1 is
dark color, and the others go faint/desaturate

When I move onto point 2, the points 1 and 3 become faint/desaturate.
When I move to point 3, the 2 points above go faint/desaturate.

Apart from creating 3 different slides, is there an action / animation
setting for this?

Thank you
Mike

Hi Michael,

In PPT 2002/2003: Click your text box, change the font color to faded
(something like gray). Set the custom animation to empahsis, change font
color, choose a bright font color, change the effect options to the colors
you want, change the After Animation color to the same faded color (gray)
that the text started with, make sure text animation is set to by first level
paragraphs and timing is on click.

When you click, each point will change to the emphasis color and then change
to the faded color on the next click.

Thank you for the trick.
It works fantastic, and your technique gives more control rather than
a macro or automated script.

Thanks
Mike
