Change Desktop

For some reason When I go to display in the control panel there is now no
tab for desktop. I have tried to reload windows xp but it didn't do
anything good. Does anyone have an Idea?

Gary,

First, eliminate malware from the PC. Missing tabs in Display properties are
usually caused by malware.
