Change defulat File Open .pst location

I keep my active pst and all archives in an Outlook directory under My
Documents. This makes backup easier for me and my users.

Q: When I want to open an old archive and go to File | Open, the default
directory is the normal Outlook directory under Local Settings. How can I
change this? I can't find a registry entry. Thanks in advance.

I don't believe there is any such registry entry. I believe the default PST
location is hard coded in Outlook.
