change default search settings

Is there a way to change the default settings in the "advanced search"
function? For instance, I need it to automatcally select "search in subject
and message body" but I don't know how to make it default to that. Please
don't tell me the only way to do this is the "Save Search", because then I'd
have to open advanced find, click file, click open search and then find the
saved search file every single time I need to search. That would be tedious
and, well, stupid.
