highlight search terms

Is it possible to have Outlook highlight/bold (or at least draw attention to)
the keywords used when making a search.? It's so time consuming to have to
scan through a long chain of conversations to find a specific topic.

Also, is there a way to make the default search search the body of the email
rather than just the subject. I always have to go to advanced search to do
this.

TIA,

Matt

Version of Outlook? Outlook 2007 should do this - the older versions do not.
Find should include the body - look in the options to the right of the pane
and select all fields if it doesn't.

Diane,

I'm using Outlook 2003, so I guess I'm out of luck with the highlighting.

As far as including the body in searches, I think the problem is that I'm
using Data File Management folders, which don't allow me to change the
"search in" option, and sub folders aren't included.

Not sure I understand how data file management fits in... show the Find
pane above the folder list, type in the search term and choose a folder from
the look in drop down. On the far right is another dropdown - it has an
option to search more fields.
