Change default delimiter when saving data only for fields

Hi,
When I save data only for forms and save it as a txt file for importing into
excel, it automatically uses a comma as the delimiter. This can cause
problems upon import because some people used commas in their responses in
form fields and this screws up the column alignment in excel.

Is there any way to change the delimiter to something else?

Help much appreciated. Thanks!

Interesting that Word Help says it saves data as tab-delimited.

However, I believe Word currently uses the "List separator" character that
you can set in Control Panel|"Regional and language options"|"Regional
Options"|Customize. You can get a tab in the field using Edit|Copy to
collect one from a Word .doc, then Edit|Paste.

Hard to distribute that change to users though, unless you are in a position
to distribute registry changes and/or can write VBA code that would make the
change temporarily, nor do I know what the potential consequences of making
such a change are to other applications.
