Change columns to rows

I've inherited a dataform and the text in it reads vertically because the
columns are one character wide. Some of the data is quite long and it is
difficult to read veritcally. Is there a way to change the columns to rows
so the data can be read more easily?

Thank you!

Have you tried just changing the width of the one-character column?

Expanding the Width of the Columns works for part of the document, but there
are 26 columns and Word stops expanding the width about half way through the
document.

There may be easier ways but I'd copy abd paste the data into Excel,
transpose it, then copy and paste it back into Word,

This means that you have more than one table in your document.
Just expand the columns in all tables.

If you are not worried about printing, you should work in normal view where
your view will not be limited to the width of the paper.

Of course, if you want to print, you will eventually need to handle the
width of columns in all tables...

Or,you could just export the whole thing in Excel... The data might be
easier to handle there if you have so many columns and many rows...

Thank you for all your suggestions. It turns out that this dataform is also
a mail merge document. It was just easier to create a new one in Excel.

Many thanks for your input.
