On the other hand, authentication issues can sometimes be traced to
server issues which would mean the problem is not on your end but rather
it is a provider error.
How about the other information such as "This server requires me to log on"
and do you have their server name exactly as it should be?
If all the account setup information is as it should be, it may be a
firewall or antivirus issue. What antivirus program are you using and are
you using some firewall other than Vista's built-in firewall?
